A true gem nestled in the charming hamlet of Dunham! This beautiful church has wonderful paintings on the ceilings created between 1940 and 1949 by various artists of the time. They are in mint condition. The Sainte-Croix de Dunham church has been remarkably maintained. The metal roof was changed in 1993. The basement and foundation along with the side entrance were renovated and restored in 2013. The interior is full of warm wood accents and incredibly high ceilings with three floors; one for the organist at the very top! The acoustics in this space are incredible!
The church has been leased to the Parish for the past 13 years for $1/ year by the foundation that currently owns the property. The lease is over on January 31, 2023.
New owners will need to dig a new well as the servitude to use the current well will no longer be valid.
